Every year Groundwork in Wales deliver hundreds of projects to improve the quality of the local environment, the lives of local people and the success of local businesses in communities across Wales.
All this activity requires substantial funding and would not be possible without the support of our partners. In 2007/2008 we spent some £9.4 million on regeneration projects. It is vital that we continue to secure funding to sustain and build upon our work with many of the most disadvantaged communities in Wales.
Companies can support our work through sponsorship, donations and gifts-in-kind including secondments, employee volunteering and materials. Individuals can support our work by volunteering with their local Trust or through donations or legacies.
We can ensure that your money gets to where it is most needed and that it supports projects of most interest to you. Every donation, however big or small, can make a real difference to people's lives. For every pound donated we are able to lever out on average a further £10 from other sources. That means any contribution you make, large or small, is worth much more than the original sum donated.
